Receiving Applications; Suspensions and Reinstatements: There were no new applications or suspensions. There are five reinstatements. Suspended members Todd Burks, Scott Dumont, Seth Riskin, William Van Laak, and Alvin K. Wong paid their back dues and fees and requested reinstatement. President Al Luenow made a motion to reinstate the five suspended members. Trustee Jim O’Meara seconded the motion. Burks, Dumont, Riskin, Van Laak, and Wong were all unanimously voted in for reinstatement. Motion passed. Debbie Gizdich was mistakenly reported as an unpaid member and was subsequently suspended. Debbie in fact did pay her dues on time and has been a member in good standing was suspended per our error. We apologized to Debbie and we do so again in print. Suspended members who neglect to pay their back dues and fines will be dropped from our role on August 31, 2021. Any dropped member who wishes to rejoin the WOAA must apply for membership accompanied with back payments and a note or document from a physician that said member is in good health. We have had members in the past, who have attempted to come back from being dropped but could not get a declaration of good health. Per our Constitution and By-Laws, they were denied. Members have a two-year window to reapply after being dropped.
